How did you get involved in cheer?: I was involved in studio dance growing up and
tumbled for 13 years before coming to UNI.
What made you want to cheer at the University of Northern Iowa?: I wanted to keep up my ability to tumble and to learn how to stunt.
Favorite UNI Cheer Squad moment: Seeing Coach Ben smirk during the NCAA Kansas game in Oklahoma City.
Most embarrassing moment: Falling forward on my standing back tuck during the men's basketball game at Drake.
What do you like to do when you are not cheering? run, sing, listen to music, be outdoors, and spend time with my family.
Personal Motto/quote to live by: Submit your life to Christ, for only He can truly fulfill you.
Where do you see yourself in 10 years? Married, parenting children, and working in the communications field.
Not many people know this but I: once walked 155 steps on my hands.
Do you have any advice for future team members? Have realistic expectations for yourself and the team. When you do, you'll be able to enjoy your experiences even more.
